Within PRO-XPS, associated with PRO FOOD/UNIONPLAST, since 2019 Coopbox has redesigned its production chain and its products in order to aim at the full recyclability of XPS containers by placing recycled polymer containers on the market.
Coopbox has applied its experience in the packaging of protein foods in a protective atmosphere (ATM) to the development of a recycled and recyclable PET container.
Produced from used bottles and containers, the new 100% r-PET containers can in turn be completely recycled into new food containers.
